Since we are working to create a more just and equitable world, we feel compelled to do all that we can to support the any and all efforts to end the persecution of dark-skinned people in India.
We believe any abuse and ongoing oppression that results from colorism or overt racism is clearly wrong, and we will look to partner with organizations like Dark Is Divine, the global anti-colorism campaign, and others to encourage more people in and outside of India to join in the righteous fight to denounce and hopefully end the unjust oppression of those people blessed with dark skin.
We, like the poet Aranya Johar, believe a person’s character is far more important that their complexion and hope you do too.
